Version 17.2.0 GA
What's new in this release?
- User group management and room access control APIs
- A new set of APIs lets you create, delete, and update groups, and assign the groups to rooms. Only users who belong to a group that is assigned to a room can then access that room.
- For example, let’s say you create a group called the “Marketing Group” and that you have a room called the “Marketing Roadmap” room. You can assign the Marketing Group to the “Marketing Roadmap” room. By doing so, everyone who is part of the Marketing Group will be able to join conferences in the “Marketing Roadmap” room, but anyone who is not part of the Marketing Group will be denied access to that room.
- We’ve synced this up with SAML; therefore, if you have groups configured with your third-party identity provider, we can authenticate those users through SAML and thereby provide them with access to the proper rooms.
- Enhanced load and capacity endurance
- In this release, we’ve made significant enhancements to ensure that our system performance and stability remains satisfactory even under peak conditions.
- Important bug fixes
- In this release, we've addressed some important issues to improve usability and reliability.
- System updates
- For added security and stability, updates for multiple third-party packages and libraries are included as part of this release.
