Version 20.3.3 (iOS)

What's new in this release?

  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) support
  • This release introduces phase 1 support for the iOS MDM platform.
  • MDM is the term used for the administration and deployment of mobile devices by IT organizations. In healthcare, for example, IT organizations may distribute iOS devices to patients for home follow-up or to patients in facilities as bedside communication devices.
  • The VidyoConnect mobile app includes a predefined, locked configuration:
  • Pre-configured settings include the username, password, VidyoPortal address, and gateway domain—thereby enabling authentication and automatic login of users.
  • Other settings, such as auto-answering incoming calls, are also pre-configured and locked from the user.
  • Users are blocked from Settings > Preferences and from the ability to log out unless they enter an access code provided by their admin.
  • New ringtone available for incoming calls
  • From the Settings > Preferences screen, you can select the new Vintage ringtone or you can select the classic VidyoConnect Default ringtone.
  • When you select a ringtone, it plays for two seconds so you can choose the sound you like best.
  • Important bug fixes
  • In this release, we've addressed some important issues to improve usability and reliability.
  • System updates
  • For added security and stability, updates for multiple third-party packages and libraries are included as part of this release.
