What's new in this release?
- Offline banner
- Users will be notified when the network connection is lost and/or if the freeze app functionality displays the until connection is restored.
- Default mute preferences
- Ability for registered mobile users to set default preferences for joining calls with audio/video muted.
- Snapshot
- Ability of mobile users to capture and save a snapshot image of a remote participant’s video or content share during a conference.
- Pinning
- Ability of mobile users to ‘pin’ a remote participant’s video tile in the in-call screen. Pinned participants will be always shown no matter who the loudest speakers are in the conference.
- Content share
- Ability of mobile users to share their device screen into a conference. With this feature, VidyoConnect will also support the Split view or Multitasking mode available on Android 7.0+ (phone/tablet) and iOS 11.0+ (tablet only), where users may open and share a second application concurrently with VidyoConnect 2-way video call. On specific Samsung devices on Android 7.0+, the "Multi-window" feature will also be supported, where users may keep a VidyoConnect conference open in a mini overlay window as they browse the rest of their device, similar to picture-in-picture mode.

- System updates
- For added security and stability, updates for multiple third-party packages and libraries are included as part of this release.
