What's new in this release?
- OS version reporting update in CDR
- We have updated the way we report Windows OS versions in our CDRs. This was done in light of the recent changes in the way Microsoft reports their version numbers for the Windows OS.
- We have tabulated below the reported version numbers for all supported operating systems.
- Windows 10 was previously reported as Win 10. It is now reported as Windows 10.
- Windows 11 was previously reported as Win 10. It is now reported as Windows 11.
- Please note macOS version is always reported as 10.15.7. That is a limitation imposed by Apple.
