What's new in this release?

• Breakout rooms
• The new breakout rooms feature enables the call moderator to separate the call participants into smaller groups. This feature is especially useful in situations where there are privacy concerns but call participants still need to speak openly. For example:
• In a medical environment, a doctor may want to talk to a patient in one breakout room and consult with other medical professionals in another room.
• In a judicial environment, an attorney may want to discuss a case with a defendant in one breakout room and with judicial assistants in another room.
• Desktop users of breakout rooms have two main roles: moderators (room owners) and participants (non-moderators):
• Moderators:
• Can create, delete, or modify breakout rooms either before or during calls.
• Create one room at a time or create rooms in bulk—up to 20 breakout rooms at a time besides the main room.
• Search participants across all rooms.
• Record single, multiple, or all rooms.
• Broadcast to one or all rooms.
• Create dedicated moderator PINs for the rooms.
• Moderate the main room and the breakout rooms.
• View and respond to requests for help.
  
• Participants:
• Can be moved to breakout rooms.
• Can request help from the moderator using the Request help button on the in-call toolbar.
• To use the breakout room feature, you must have VidyoPortal version 23.1.0 or later. If any of the call participants are using mobile devices, they must have VidyoConnect for Mobile version 23.1.0 or later.
• Participants on older versions of the desktop, WebRTC, or mobile apps can join the main conference, but they cannot be moved to breakout rooms. The moderator is made aware of this fact so they can communicate accordingly.
• This feature is not yet compatible with VidyoConnect Room or VidyoRoom.

VIDCOND-704	VidyoConnect 22.x no longer hangs or crashes on Hyundai PCs and the HP ProBook G1 (2015 and 2016 models).
VIDCOND-583	We fixed an issue where KSC-branded VidyoConnect for Desktop could not join a guest link if the access to links.vidyocloud.com was not open.
VIDCOND-560	We fixed the delay/glitch that sometimes occurred when screen-sharing a PowerPoint presentation.
VIDCOND-555	We fixed the issues affecting the VoiceOver and Narrator apps when using VidyoConnect for Desktop and WebRTC.
VIDCOND-550	It is now possible to screenshare the Notepad app when using Windows 11.

VIDCOND-1241	The legacy endpoint device state is not saved after a transfer to a breakout room.
VIDCOND-770	A server error occurs when an Epic AP user clicks the Breakout rooms button. Epic auto-provisioned users will not be able to leverage breakout rooms at the time of the version 23.1.0 release. Please refer to our in-depth help to learn more about this limitation.
VIDCOND-473	When using macOS Ventura with Stage Manager, open applications that are shared blink continuously and the shared window does not come to the foreground.
VIDCOND-360	The Send invitation button is not displayed for tenant admins when they are in a room owned by someone else.
