Important resolved issue for Epic customers who have experienced intermittent 404 errors when joining Epic CAL conferences
Prior to this release, some cloud-based and on-premises customers with Epic integrations (or other API integrations) may have experienced a rare issue with failed calls. These customers may have seen a 404 or “call/room not found” error when attempting to connect to a call.
This issue was caused when the API service incorrectly selected a disabled Admin on the Tenant to process a request. If the request went to an enabled Admin, it was processed correctly; if the request went to a disabled Admin, it could not be provisioned and the error would occur.
Epic Hardware Test
This release adds the infrastructure support for integrating with the SetHardwareTest functionality in Epic.
Administrators can now include a parameter in their FDI record that enables the Hardware Test workflow on endpoints prior to allowing those endpoints to join a conference.
Inactivity timer custom parameter
The new "InactivityTimer" custom parameter enables Tenant Admins to set a timeout value for guests and/or registered users. After the specified amount of time during which a participant is alone in a call, VidyoConnect disconnects the guest or registered user.
System updates
For added security and stability, updates for multiple third-party packages and libraries are included as part of this release.
